About Blooms in the Bush

Hi, I’m Shell. 

I’m the florist and flower farmer behind Blooms in the Bush, nestled in beautiful Staughton Vale, Victoria.

A country girl at heart, I’ve called Staughton Vale home since I was 12. Inspired by the Australian countryside, I’m deeply connected to nature, wildlife and the changing seasons.

For over 20 years, my husband Timma and I have shared a love of gardening and creating beautiful outdoor spaces. Together, we’re raising our four sons and bringing to life the flower farm we dreamed of for many years.

Flowers have always been part of my creative soul. While our boys were young, I studied floristry, holding onto the dream of one day growing and designing flowers of my own. In November 2025, Blooms in the Bush officially began.

My floral style follows the seasons, not trends. Each arrangement and farm bunch is created with seasonal flowers and foliage, inspired by what’s growing on the farm at the time—making every piece unique.

Our roadside flower trailer is one of my favourite ways to share flowers with the community. It’s become a special place where local community members and passers-by can stop, grab a bunch of fresh farm flowers and enjoy a little piece of country life. It’s been amazing to hear the wonderful feedback and meet so many beautiful people along the way.

I also create blooms for micro weddings, special orders and heartfelt farewells, always with a natural, seasonal and sustainable approach.

What I love most is creating floral art that brings joy, comfort and connection for nature lovers and creative souls alike.
